Publications and protocols

Peer-reviewed submissions, technical reports, white papers and the standard operating procedures behind our trials. Protocols are published openly — a method you cannot inspect is not a method.

Why we publish our methods

Results are frequently confidential. Methods should not be. Publishing our standard operating procedures lets a reviewer, a regulator or a competitor examine exactly how a number was produced — and that examination is what gives the number its value.

It also means a partner site can run our protocol and produce data that is genuinely comparable to ours, which is the foundation of the multi-site network trials we operate.
